This series of paintings are called "Shades of Life"

Art to me is a visual song that embodies colors and strokes representing melody and harmony coming together, where we all can visualize what we feel happening in our mind's eye. Art can take us everywhere we wish to be; it can transform us into a sad or happy frame of mind with memories that fall or sail into the next millennium.

I feel my art is a spirit-like plane coexisting with us, but on a different level. We can't smell or touch, but we can feel and see the souls that walk with and among us.

Sometimes at night I've often watched my paintings breathe and come to life, and with the music

of it we dance until dawn.

Looking ahead in this 21st Century there is no way to predict what will happen in the art world, but my desire is to be involved and do whatever is necessary to stay a part of it all.
